Recruiting with Alcohol

For many fraternities that lack good planning or social skills, using alcohol to lure new recruits is a common approach. After all, if you've got nothing to talk about, and nothing to sell, you might as well see if a frosty Pabst will win the guy over. If you work hard enough at this approach, there is a good chance you'll corner the market on mindless young males easily impressed by cheap beer. Good for you. You deserve each other.

Besides, using alcohol to recruit is a common practice in the real world. And, nothing could ever go wrong, right?

You are what you sell and your fraternity is always remembered for how it recruits. Recruiting with alcohol is never a good idea. The impression you leave behind may become your legacy.
